This site was launched using free WordPress software. I have, as you will see, now transferred it to a dedicated domain, which will require a commitment to regular hosting and associated other costs. Using the same hosting service (IONOS) as my own sites doesn’t save money, but is convenient.

Fees so far are £34.80. On top of that will be various other plug-ins to ensure an efficiently operating site, plus an email address. The total annual costs are therefore going to be around £100/year. In addition, with a dedicated domain, contributors will be able to post to the site under their own name, without me having to post for them. I’m looking for donations to cover some of these costs to keep the site going over the long term. If I can raise at least half the costs, I’m willing to foot the rest to get things going.
